Introduced to martial arts at 7 years old and continuing to train in Chinese Boxing and Wing Chun until obtaining a grade high enough to teach at the age of 14.,/p>

Always maintained a keen interest in all martial arts.

In 2008 started training in Wado-Ryu Karate at Su-Ha-Ri Fleet as a student of Sensei Jon Wicks (W.I.K.F. World Chief Instructor).

In 2011 obtained the grade of 1st Dan (Shodan) and continued training as a keen student of Wado-Ryu at many other Su-Ha-Ri Dojos and attending many Wado International Karate-Do Federation schools and courses in England.

In 2013 Obtained the grade of 2nd Dan (Nidan) and was also very proud to be part of the team to organise and stage the 13th W.I.K.F. Karate World Championships in England.

In 2017 obtained the grade of 3rd Dan (Sandan) and is currently dedicated to training and teaching for Su-Ha-Ri School of Wado-Ryu Karate.
