I am from the Dominica in the Caribbean and started karate when I was a teenager, unfortunately due to my parents circumstances I wasn’t able to continue.

I was always keen for my children to start as soon as they could and when they did I realised it wasn’t too late to continue what I had started.  My children inspired me to start again and SU-HA-RI gave me the confidence.

I had the honour of gaining my blackbelt in February 2020 before lockdown, I am now working towards my 2nd Dan. I am also a proud dad of my thirteen year old son who recently obtained his blackbelt.

I love teaching and it also gives me the opportunity to give back to the kids the same confidence and skills I am continuing to learn in karate, I enjoy helping them grow and learn.
